Throughout this web site, I speak of my methods for quilting. Most items I create are quilted. Quilts are my specialty, but you will find that I create a variety of products. Over the years, I have tailored my products to fit my customers needs. Oftentimes, one who orders a custom quilt would also like matching pillows shams and a bed ruffle or even curtains made with one of the fabrics in the quilt. This brings together the entire room. If there is a product that you may be interested in but do not see listed, send an email and I'll let you know what I can do.

All of my products are handmade and machine sewn, designed to add a personal touch to your home for years to come. Choose the size, color, and design for your creation. Quilts make great gifts for wedding showers, graduations and birthdays! Order two baby quilts at one time and you will have a meaningful, unique gift on hand for the next baby shower.

When comparing quilted products, check to see what method is used to hold the top and the bottom or the quilt together with the batting. The two most common ways are “quilting” and “tieing”.

“Quilting” can be done by hand or by machine. I do a small amount of hand quilting. This is very time consuming and therefore much more costly. I choose to use a "machine corner tack" method to quilt my products. This means that several stitches are repeated over one another no more than a few inches apart throughout the entire project. This make it very durable and machine washable. If a quilt is not properly quilted, you will see some separating and sagging, especially after washing.

“Tieing” is when a large hand needle is used with yarn, floss, or even ribbon to “tie” the layers of the quilts together with knots. This is a much more old fashioned look. I do not tie quilts.

You will find more information on each product on its respective page. Feel free to contact me with questions or to place your custom order. I look forward to working with you!
